If I can just get it to the fairgrounds, I know I can win the demolition derby and win enough to get me a new one.

Nurse this sucker all day long,

Good luck trying to sell a trailer for scrap as no one will take it unless you pay them

My home built, rescued from a church after it failed a state police inspection. Did some mechanical work then bought an old aluminum camper (not as bad as the one in first post) unscrewed the walls and took the insides out for my camper. Sold the scrap aluminum and trailer for more than I paid by a few bucks.
Slept 9, has shower, toilet, microwave, storage up the wazoo, 90 gallon water capacity and got 6 mpg loaded or empty. Had a big engine and a really low 1st gear. That Colorado trip did about 7 passes over 10,000 feet. Slowly (both up and down) but did them. Wolf Creek was the most fun, dear wife was a having kittens. There was also a little dirt route between Gunnison and Buena Vista was pretty nice too. Smartest thing I did was install a second window washer tank to spray water on the radiator for those long climbs. :-)

That's what I meant when I said it takes a person with wherewithal ("the money or other means needed for a particular purpose").
When a friend offered to take an '89 Toyota motorhome with a badly leaking overcab compartment and weak drivetrain off my hands, I signed over the title and said, "it's all yours." I want to make sure I am not left holding the short straw at the end!

If you look closely at the middle of the tape the road has wet looking streak in the middle of the road if that is what you are seeing. Re-watched the video and you are right. It is a tank at the end and I see TP. Yuck! Good eyes.

Perhaps they need a high quality sealant on the seams. It might be a bit leaky as is.

Here in PDX they’re called ‘Zombie RVs’. People can’t scrap them so they end up being acquired by homeless folks. They move from area to area when people start complaining or when there’s a police crackdown.
