How thick was the frig. door panel. If it is 1/4" you can install a maple panel and finish to match the rest of the cabinets.

It was two 1/8" sheets.
The maple match sounds nice, might have to look for some.
So you think the stock wood doors on the PL are maple finished marine ply? with maybe a clear varnish? I should ask Cameron sometime.

I would check with PL on wood and finish. I did read where they were now using a water base poly finish. I have had yellowing issues with the regular Minnwax poly on maple and birch. 1/4" sheets of cabinet plywood is not that expensive.

These images are of the street and curb side under berth storage.

The curb side has the 15 gallon fresh water tank with bubble foil and room for hose, REI gravity filter, and assorted grey tank fittings.

The street side has the dual battery box that also houses the electronics for charging/etc. I replaced the stock wood screws with wood-screw+machine-thread 1/4 x 3" and then placed washer/wing-nut to fasten shut. Plenty of room for the 30amp cord + room for a 15amp extension.

Last on my honey-do list today was to create some way to keep upper cupboards open. I cut up a 5/16" x 36" wood dowel in three equal sections, put a plastic no-mark end (yellow), and a small eyelet. Then i screwed a matching eyelet (bent slightly open to allow easy on/off of dowel)...it may not be to elegant but cari says it really helps her loading up the cabinets.

This is crackin' me up... Brand spankin' new trailer, built and delivered as ordered... already undergoing renovations!

If there's one thing that unites us here at Fiberglassrv.com, it's the urge to modify.

"It ain't perfect until I say it's perfect!"

Francesca... Ya think?!

Glenn, that is certainly cool...i'll keep my eye out for that item.
What i did today cost me ~6 bucks and a few minutes so i don't have a whole lot invested in it, though it does work fine.

What can I say? It's the way the trailer came. I don't know where you would get them.

Thanks for the pix Thom!
To me, elegant is often a conglomeration of simple, effective and, inexpensive. I'll be headed to the big box hardware store tomorrow to make up my own set!

I like your prop solution, Thom- simple and clever!

For those perhaps not so handy:

Those factory cupboard props like the one above are available from Camping World for less than ten bucks...a friend of mine just bought some for his Forest River. This one looks a little different from the one illustrated but would do the trick!
