Time Capsule - On This Day In History

For those that have the more vintage all molded towables, perhaps you'd like to see what was popular/what was happening when your trailer was built? Plug in any date and a year to see: dMarie Time Capsule

It's okay Carl, just have fun with it. Everything with year of trailer to birth year to maybe... wedding year?

I recently restored a 1895 Studebaker Stanhope Horse Drawn Buggy.....it originally sold for $30 with shafts. You could get yourself a good horse for about $15 to pull the buggy.

1987 Scamp 13 (1987 is our best guess)

I was a junior in high school.
I remember the gas station next to my dads house was the cheapest $0.68/gal
My grandparents (Mamaw and Papaw) were my best friends. They drove an old Maverick and we went to Shoney's to eat all the time on $10.
That's about all I remember.

I graduated in 1967 from High School.
During one of those 4 years of HS, I found
a ten dollar bill in the parking lot. I carried
it quite a while to see if anyone claimed losing
one. I "feasted" for three weeks at the local
Dairy Diner when no one claimed it.

An ice cream cone about ten inches high above
the cone was 20˘. You had to have a quick licker
in the summer time.
