Make sure you go out and remove that snow off the roof before it forms into an ice cube with extra weight on the roof. Even with the interior brace damage can still be done with all that snow on the roof. Here in Winnipeg I have brushed the roof of my Boler at least 4 times already. And winter only starts in 5 more days on the 21th of Dec.

Kevin K... The poor little camper looks so cold. I have a big blanket and a tarp to keep mine warm for the winter...lol. I'm looking forward to 70+ temps as I'm ready for some camping!

We're in Perry,GA right now for the remainder of the month we paid for. On the 23rd we're running 600 miles north to Indianapolis to spend Christmas with our son's family. Back to GA on the 27th. Finish out the paid month and then on to Florida and who knows where else? Free advice to all of you still working: retire just as young as you can make the finances work. Life is short even if you live to 100.

John, don't feel bad because, yes, he or she was no doubt sleeping. I have seen several donkeys standing away from each other facing water, as if they were looking at it, but apparently just sleeping. Very strange sight. That burro or donkey or whatever it was probably went on to somewhere else shortly after you left. They may stand to be ready against predators.

Yep. Watching my doctor neighbor getting his brand new garage shingled in the snow. Good thing my husband forgot to take out that 100# bag of shell corn out of the back of my jeep. Shouldn't need 4 wheel drive.

Unless the mice get a whiff of it, then you may have a mess on your hands. They love free food!!

Cpaharley2008:

I plan on getting it out on my own. But my garage is an open arena, a smorgasbord with spring traps. I think they are getting onto my husbands way of baiting them.

Western Colorado finally got snow in the valleys. We got about 5 inches last nite. I'm ready for spring already.

It certainly looks peaceful and serene there, all we get are drab clouds and rain.

Great photo David,

I grew up in Saskatoon. I'll take -20C in the prairie sunshine over -2C in Vancouver's gray, damp sleet any day. It's about preparedness. My home windows are 3mm, single pain plus the doors and windows are so drafty I could fly a kite.

Heading south in January, can't wait.
