Today was a good day

Woke up to good coffee and drew a concept of the Gypsy roof I plan to install on my 1976 13 ft Scamp. I moved on to build up the kitchen cabinets. Last week I built in the dining area and the table is now in the possession of an artist who will paint it a WeeGee (sp?) board theme.

I'm liking those cutouts in your cabinets! That's going to look really good! How do you plan to finish it? Paint or stain?

Pam,

I'm going to go with paint. Its all rough plywood and I hope to have ornate paintings on everything. I have been collecting silver cups, saucers, spoons and other interesting things to glue onto the walls. I have a friend who is taking the table I made and plans to paint it into a Weegie Board theme. I'm thinking of using that as the central theme the colors and design.

Deryk,

You read my mind. I'm thinking using either LED lights or EL wire to bling those shapes at night. One idea is to use stained glass and little candle holders in front of the shapes that hold LED tea lights.

This project is really getting fun because I can finally see manifesting. Til now its all been fiberglass repair and dealing with dry rot.
