There are several Bigfoot groups on Facebook, including one for buying/selling.

Thanks for the offer but not really what we are looking for. We are going to look at a few Airstreams this afternoon, the layouts are great, look awesome, but because they are much more complex than our Escape, gonna have to think on this one. Size vs weight vs complexity

One of my best friends ordered a 25 foot airstream last fall. Front bed with a rear hatch and double ac. Was promised in March, now June or July. I have another friend with a 27. It has not been trouble free, however it’s a great layout. Both of these trailers are now over 100,000. I don’t think these trailers are really any more complex than your 21. Be interested in your impressions of the airstream. I walked through a bunch of them when helping my friend drop his off for service. Nice looking, but really out of our budget, while the 25 RQ was right at the top of our means. I really liked the Oliver’s construction, but not the layout, unless you wanted twins. No pun intended.

Airstreams are known for towing stability, my friend tows his with a gmc with the larger v8 and an equalizer wdh. Good luck with your search, lots of great products out there.

Looked at 6 Airstreams today in Ohio, we really liked the 27ft front twin bed model. One thing I'm not sure about is the lasting quality. 4 of the units that we looked at were used and I'm sure they were not treated like my Escape but they looked tired! The oldest was 2016 30ft which looked rough and a 2018 that cabinet were loose or falling off inside and the outside aluminum skin which looks great when new all of them had a cloudyness to them. The storage inside is great, but the outside storage is small, not sure where we would put our grill or layback chairs.

All in all it was a good day!

We got a tour of the Bigfoot trailer we ordered on Kelley’s Island in October. We were very impressed with build quality and the layout. It reinforced our decision to order it. We owned our 21 for 4 years and had very little maintenance outside of tires and wheel bearing service. Good luck, if we get ours and are home late in the summer you’ll be welcome to see it.

Airstream.
Just curious.
Given the extensive, and presumably expensive, damage that can be caused by hail, how does the cost of insurance compare to a fiberglass trailer? There are two in my rv storage area that must have hundreds of pock marks.
