Trailer jack info.

I saw a trailer jack about two weeks ago and now can't find any info. on it. The jack mounted in the three bolt bracket behind the hitch. It had a collar with a spring loaded pin which allowed you to raise or lower the jack screw assy. I think it even let you take the jack off the trailer.
If you have any info on it please let me know who makes/sells them.
Thanks Eddie
(It's not the Jack-E-up)

Jack

It's called "The Ultimate Jack" and you can buy it online from Rentz Trailers, Your One Stop New & Used Trailer Store in Florida or Amazon. I bought one and it's the greatest thing since cornflakes!!

Cornflakes are unhealthy suxx nobody should consume. But "The Ultimate Jack" is a really great thing.

I was getting pretty excited, till I saw that they only have a top crank. I need a side crank.

What is the difference between top and side crank when you can easily move the jack up and down?

My trailers tongue is kinda crowed. The crank would hit my spare, when it is down. You can also see in the picture, why I want a removable jack. Even fully retracted, this my jack catches on approaches. Note the funky angle.

What is the o.d. of the outside tube? We just had to replace the trailer jack on our Bigfoot after arriving at my nephew's house and having the jack fail while jacking it up in his driveway. Thankfully it was before we had removed it from the tow vehicle! Unfortunately, the replacement we were able to get had an o.d. that was larger than the hole in the lower part of the frame.

Here is another option, this is basically a base plate that accepts a standard jack, with a simple twist the jack comes off.
Buy Now! « Jack-E-Up

Watch the video on their site, I prefer this system over the Ultimate Jack because I can use a standard jack and just replace that if needed. There are different models for top and side-wind jacks

I bought one of these for my Scamp 16. It works great, except that when I tried to install the wheel caster, it didn't fit because the inside tube on the jack was out of round. The standard foot has a larger opening so it fit anyway. This egg shaped condition was apparently formed when the two grooves were put in the shaft. I had to put it in a vice and force it to be round again. The Scamp wheel caster fits fine now. I talked to the guy who makes these. He was very nice. He said he'd never had this situation reported to him before, so if it has happened to others, they probably just fixed it without calling him, or maybe it's never happened to anyone else.

Mine measures 2 1/4" on the outside tube O.D. You can call the guy and ask him also. His phone number can be found at his website contact page, Home-Future 2 Solutions .
