As a fulltimer, I always had a drill on hand anyway. Impact drivers are inexpensive and also useful for changing wheels, etc. As folks may have already picked up, I like things, esp on truck and
Scamp, that can do more than one thing to earn their keep.

On this last trip, I had a chance to use my new impact wrench. I got this at one of those industrial resale type stores. Battery powered, and I already had a socket (same one fits the BAL leveler and the BAL stabilizers...go figure.) and extension.
Well, lemme tell you, my elbow is thanking me!!! THIS was the thing to get!
First, I used it on the leveler. For those that are lucky enough to have a single
axle, the Bal Leveler is just wonderful! You slide this around the low tire and use the enclosed wrench to lift it up! No wood, no legos. But, there is that wrench thing. I have done it by hand and it is certainly do-able. Yea, but not a lot of fun.
OK, so in I go with my new toy and it works great!!!!!! UP goes the tire like a service station! Perfectly level. And the jacks...oh man...I didn't know those jacks could move that fast! Zip zip...done! And the same of breaking camp...really fast, really easy and when I got in my truck, my arms weren't hurting, my elbow was fine and generally felt like this was a good purchase!
IMHO, Battery powered impact wrench...WAY to go!
