Any thoughts on RV travel guides for US travel? Woodalls good? Others better? No trailer yet but looking at Casitas and Escapes.

Hi George, we have an Escape trailer and are very happy with it. Nice to be able to order straight from the factory so they can make slight modifications if you want it. For example, we had it made "gaucho ready" so that if we are able to take grandchildren camping in the future we can add the gaucho bunk. To do that they had to put in additional support between the fibreglass and the inside wall to fasten the bunk to and they had to raise the window to allow for the bunk. We bought some extra matching upholstery fabric so are ready to go if we need to.
We prefer the Woodalls guides to the Trailer Life because you can get Woodalls for different areas so is not as bulky as the Trailer Life - but both are certainly good and if you are a Good Sam member you get a price break on the Trailer Life.
Good luck in finding your trailer.

Welcome to FiberglassRV George, we're glad you're here.

We had a pretty good discussion about travel books here just recently. Click on this link for more info: Campground Books
