When we travel I find myself digging for anything we might need while we're gone--Tylenol, Motrin, Tums, etc. I don't want to leave the meds in the trailer because we don't use them often and I don't want to have to throw them out when they expire, but I get tired of toting them back and forth. I got the idea to take one of those 7-day pill boxes and label each day with over-the-counter meds we might need, all of the above and cold medicine, Benadryl, Singulair and Imodium. Enough in each section to take a person through a few days, but not so many that if I have to throw them out it seems too wasteful. I leave tomorrow--yeah!

Where are you off to?

I usually end up taking a whole medicine bag- I have all four dogs on prescriptions now, three of them twice a day, plus my once a day stuff. I like your idea, though.

I have a small basket, about 7x5 inches. It holds the pill bottles for me and the rats.

I save old bottles and put the right qty in them, so it's just like home, only smaller qtys.

NOW.. I have to suffer thru this weekend on nicotine inhalor rations because I forgot to grab a packet of them from my "Big" box in the house.

I got here with just what was in my pocket and what got left in the trailer from last trip out.

Ugh!!! I hate it when I am mental noting to myself all day to pack them, but actually forget to!
