Hi everyone,
I may be buying a 2nd Trillium 4500 soon. The 12 gallon rectanglar plastic fresh water tank has a leak. Let me know if you have one or if someone you know that has one. THANKS!

Happy Easter,

David Baston

Dave, about 10 years ago the water tank in the over head camper on my F-250 developed a leak and I fixed it with JB Weld.
It developed a crack about 4 inches long. I drilled a small hole at each end of the crack to keep it from further cracking. I then sanded it down very well and spread on a layer of JB Wed. It was still holding when I sold the rig last year.

Dave,
There are polyethylene water tanks in the Coast RV parts catalog. One is 13.5 gallons that is 29.5"x16"x7.25". List price is $95.95. Fittings extra.
I'd like to stop and check out your trailer(s?) sometime. I'll be down in your area on and off in the coming months. Dave S

If this is the original factory tank Dave is talking about then it is plastic "Bladder" that fits into a well under the dinette floor.

What a bizarre idea they had with that one.
As I understand it when filled to the top the tank would lift the floor covering in that area.

It would be a simple mod to stick a normal tank in the underseat storage on the kitchen side of the trailer.
That is certainly what I have thought of and what I would do.

Hi David,
Thanks for the fast response too! That sounds like a close drop-in possibly.
Let me know when you are coming down this way. You can check out my Trillium. The 2nd one I have not purchased yet, but I'am am considering buying it, fixing it up and resaling for a profit.
