You beat me to it!

Thanks for the update. I posted on there yesterday and was going to
mention it here today. Hopefully the ' issues ' have been resolved as
it has great historical archives about the UHAULS.

Every time I go to register, I can't get past the last "are you a robot" test. That thing is ridiculously difficult to figure out.

There is a link there for the "visually impaired", which seems to include me. I left a message.

I signed on, no problems but really sorry to hear of the difficulties.

Hopefully, this JIM or whomever the moderator is now over there will sort this out. Truthfully, just feel like saying: WHAT A WASTE!

I did not know it was down, but then, I have been on there for years, so I was not trying to get past robot things. It has had no activity for months though.

The only way to make it active is to post there. Or buy the site. A few of us considered it. Jim wanted to sell it a year or two ago. He might still be open to selling it. A couple of us looked into it.

Can you guys who can't get registered see Forest Field's posts? If you can send him a PM, maybe he will work magic. He is a wealth of information too.

As a previous member of UHaulcamper.com, I was able to get right back in today. However, I tried to set up a new account just to see about the issues people are mentioning and I found the confirmation code box to be totally unreadable, too. I sent a private message to Jim to see if he can change that very soon.

To Mr. Jim (the mysterious moderator?)

OK, just so you all know, I sent this to him yesterday...
Maybe he will get the hint?

To Mr. Jim ( the moderator )

There are a number of very capable people who would like
to become involved in your website as active owners of UHaul Campers
(CTs and VTs) Unfortunately, it appears to be next to impossible for them
to register with the verification code being totally unreadable.

Any chance to fix that and also clarify what the policy is regarding
having to donate to become a member? Would appreciate any feedback
before we all have to give up on this site.

Thanks for your attention to this matter as we really do appreciate the
knowledge and applicability to the UHauls that this site is all about!

If you check back into the UHaulcamper website, the confirmation box problem has been fixed for new registrants. Jim replied that he is also in need of volunteers to be moderators on the site. This involves some regular checking of posts to make sure things are going smoothly.

By the way, those confirmation boxes are still frustrating for some folks. If you find you can't read what is there, hit the button to bring up another version. That one may be easier for you to read. I know that the 5's and S's look a lot alike to me!
