Seeing the smily face brings back old camping memories.
When our kids were still kids we always took a 2-3 week break during Christmas holidays to southern CA. Usually the warmest part that time of year was the Salton Sea area.
Several times while camped at the State Park there, a very elderly couple would pull in during the day for several hours with this kind of motor home. They would sit beside their rig in lawn chairs and read, then leave before the sun went down. Probably they lived near by in Cochella.
Our family had outgrown the Compact Jr. and our rig at the time was a '60 Streamline 21ft towed by a 71 GMC 4wd pickup.
