Vintage Fiberglass Boats

I've see a few poster's handmade canoes posted here. Does anyone mess with Vintage fiberglass boats? My Scamp is on the back burner until summer but to keep myself occupied I bought a 1959 GlassCraft boat with the Merc 78A dockbuster engine. Any thoughts? The first one is the one I just picked up and the second pic is one that is restored.

I picked up a 1959 Glasspar Del Mar that I was going to restore but my health got in the way and I ended up selling it before I could even get started.

There's a 59 Del mar on the Portland Craigslist right now. I'm more into the BIG FIN boats that look like 57 Chevys.

You don't want to know what a 1956 Ford F-100 Big Back Window would cost

My first car was a 1957 chevy sedan with 86,000 original miles 283 with 411 rear end (towing package). I paid $100 (from my grandpa).

Yep, just haven't had a chance to tow the Burro with it yet. I also have a '59 Ford Wagon that I use when the rallies or gatherings are futher than 150 miles. It's known as comfort.
