Wanted: Owner willing to show camper SE Pa.

Hello,

We're in SE Pa., just west of Phila.
Any owners local to me willing to let my wife and I have a look see at your camper?
We don't have covid, and will wear masks.

Any model, Casita, Escape, Bigfoot, other.
Please send me a PM if you're game.

It might help us decide whether or not to put a long distance deposit down on a used trailer. Passed on a few already. They sell fast!

Thanks,
John

Hi John,

What size trailer are you looking for?

Have you used any camping trailer before?

Hi Craig, we are hoping to find something that we can sleep in comfortably. I'm 6' 1-1/2". Weighing all options as we learn more about them.
I've been in a pop up as a kid, and my wife's familiar with a slide in.

I wrote to Escape. They say they have ambassador's that will show a camper. Haven't got any info on that yet.

COVID may have something to do with the slow response. Many Escape owners are in the older, more vulnerable demographic and choosing to limit public interactions.

But don’t give up! It may just take a little longer.

I see that you are from Lansdale, PA. Our Scamp has visited Lansdale a few times while visiting my Sister that used to live there. She also has a Scamp now, although she moved to DE and we live in GA.
We both plan to be at Lackawanna state park near Scranton over the Labor Day weekend, they in their 13' Scamp, and we will be in our 16' Scamp. You are welcome to stop by and visit them if you're in the area.

I am hoping to see some trailers with a bathroom to see if it's a good fit. I'm not too picky, but my bride is. She loves tenting, but having had both knees replaced, twice, I don't want to crawl in and out of a tent anymore. Scranton is not far. I'll look into it. Thanks
