WEBSITE HAS MOVED
I have moved the website to my new HIGH SPEED server.
You will see some glitches for a couple of days until the Registrar updates the Name Servers.
We have four redundant servers with:
Intel® Xeon™ CPU 2.60GHz
speed: 2587.437 MHz
5000 MB of transfer per month available
500 MB storage
Please hang in there. I’m sorry for the inconvenience.

Whew! For a while there, I could read everything but I could not get logged on or post messages.
I think everyone's Internet Service Providers servers have to get in sync with the new server before everything gets running smoothly. On some systems, that can take up to 48 hours to "flush" out all the storaged images and pages.
A similar thing happed on a flashlight website that I frequent. It took some folks a couple of days before they could log on.
So, if you are having problems! Hang in there! It will be worth the wait!
Michael, thanks for moving us to a high speed server! At the rate the website is growing, we need all the speed and bandwidth we can get!

now maybe I can get caught up on all my back reading. :lol
nice to know I have a good server. Except for the log on information, I'm doing pretty good. :laugh haven't tried any other pictures yet though.

Something's missing
So, everybody, in case you think you're losing your mind, it's not true!
Yes, we actually did lose a few messages that were posted this afternoon.
Posting seems to be back to normal now, though. If you can remember what it was you were thinking and/or said, I think it's safe to reconstruct it!!
:o Of course, if you're like me, that's easier said than done!

Good Morning
I Logged on to the news of the new server. Great work:jump-r I think I lost my last contribution to my Compact II History segmant during the move. I still have it at on my work computer history record (I think) so I will have to try to repost it Monday. If I can't post it from My History I will try to rewrite it next week. In the meantime I am working on getting pictures today which I will post for the record. Thanks again for all your help and encouragement. You all really do make each new member feel welcome and at home on the bullitin board.

Darrel ... please do! I'm enjoying your "history" and know others are too! Looking forward to the pictures.
Speaking of pictures ... and our webmaster will know better then me ... but I think there will be a couple of day's lag before the "photo upload" feature works again.

AL, I thought I was going crazy when the page told me that no user name like mine existed. I was finally forced to reregister and repost. I posted it under care and feeding of fiberglass trailers, and added three pictures of the bathroom for those who were discusing whether it had one or not. And the size is 17 foot not 16, and this was the only model they made. Harold

I can't see any of the pictures - I just get the little script box where the picture should appear. Other people's comments indicated that they are seeing the pictures. Am I missing something? Paul

I didn't see any pictures on home page the first two days, but I saw other pictures. now I have all the pictures back. someone says it depends on your server and how often it updates. but I think it's really the little people in the computer re-arranging things. :yep okay, so I'm not a computer whiz. Hope tomorrow alls well for you, Paul.
