Upgraded my kitchen for the Agua Caliente get together.
This way I can see what I have to make for dinner!

Looks great! I like the ease of access to important tools and ingredients.

What a neat idea, those magnetic storage containers. I am afraid though on our VT, they would be knocked off. The fridge sits across from the bathroom door, so it is narrow there. I might use them elsewhere though.

Cindy, They are about 1 1/2" deep and 3 1/2" wide.
Not expensive at Ikea. Less than $30 for this panel. As I remember they were $9 for the back sheet of magnetic stainless steel and $4 for three containers. They hold on really well.
I'm going to take the new setup for a camping trip next week and see if they stay on.

Oh, thanks. Now I have an excuse to go to Ikea. I haven't been there for eons. It is right across from one of our campuses, but I am not teaching there this semester, and even if I were, it is always closed when I am getting out of class.

Yes, I do. Efficient use of wallspace. They generally stay put. I never hang knives, though...

Here's a picture of mine and the link to it on ebay. I'm not finished with it yet. I still need to put on my chain and seal it in. All I did was cut a board to fit snuggly in the opening and tie into the wires in cupboard.

Yes, they are tiny 12v computer cooling fans. They are the tiniest, quietest that they make. They don't pull much air, but they seem to pull enough to take steam out when a pot is boiling on the stove.
The magnets worked perfectly! They made my foodstuffs accessible and never came off while I pulled Mouse over bumpy country roads!
I remove the pots, but I leave to knives on the magnet strip while traveling.

for those that could occasionaly use a third burner... an electric frying pan or even a hot plate is nice and can easily be used outside for greasy or stinky foods you don't want to cook inside.

OK I may sound stupid here as I understand NOTHING about the electrical in the boler yet... my friend has yet to come over and help me figure it out and rewire but how do you turn them on and off? I see no switch. also where did you find the cover as I see the fans and the guards online but the pretty white case I don't see... did you make it? Forgive me for being such a newbie
