What else do you tow?
OK, you just spent twice as much on your TV as you did on the TT. What else do you tow?
I've just bought a new (to me) TIG welder and I have the plans for a small trailer that will go nicely behind on 4 banger Camry. I can carry 6 2x4s in my Fit (or a lama) but not a sheet of plywood.
What are you folks pulling?
(Yeah, TIG is overkill but it's a new toy)

What else ?
Like most people probably, a utility trailer for logs, firewood, pine needles, motorcycles, and moving relatives. ( The most popular person in the family might be the one with the Pickup, or utility trailer, OR BOTH !.) Also a tiny utility / luggage trailer (3 x 4.5 ft aluminum box, which is FOR SALE ! ! $ 295.00. registered, licensed, with lights! Sonora CA.
David in Sonora and Fresno, and next week the Colorado River !

now that I have a f250 diesel, a utility trailer strong/large enough to hold a car wouldn't be a bad thing... But as it is, I have no other trailers (not counting a 1000 lb gross HF kit trailer moldering in the lower acre, we used to use for hauling music festival gear when we just had a small station wagon and 2 kids).

So the Campster is a 1970, classed as vintage. My utility would be considered an antique. It's licensed as a 1942, but who knows for sure. It gets used regularly for various projects such as tomorrow helping to move 15 pallets of food donated to the local food bank.

Interesting question Dillon and I totally understand the new toy . Other than using the TIG for learning to use it, you'd probably be better off ($ wise) buying the fold up 4 x 8' trailer from Harbor Freight, light weight and will handle sheets of plywood easy. I've always had trucks but finally found the cleanest Samurai tin top in SoCal. Whoops, no truck then so I picked up the HF trailer and it worked out fine for 5 years and your Camry has way more power. MMM, what else do you tow, 2 cargo's, 2 utilities, 2 TTs and a street legal dune buggy.....CA DMV loves me .

We've towed a horse trailer for years, starting with a regular bumper hitch/tag-a-long. Then we migrated to a slant load gooseneck trailer because it provided the horses with better balance while riding. We still have one horse (retired) and I needed to be able to pull the horse trailer as well as the fifth wheel. That's why we chose the Anderson Ultimate Hitch configuration for our fifth wheel towing; it allows us to still pull the gooseneck horse trailer while being able to quickly and easily mount/un-mount the Anderson Ultimate Hitch for camping. It's been great so far and we're looking forward to this season. We haven't pulled the horse trailer yet, but we can, when needed.

Besides the 3 campers, teardrop, Uhaul, and Casita, I have a boat trailer, Coleman Versa utility trailer, '46 Bantam trailer, and 3 other utility trailers, one of them made from an old Chevy pickup box with a '37 Ford front axle under it.

Love my 4x8x2 open utility trailer/ersazt pick-up truck!
Just big enough for plywood, rated for up to 2500# payload, easier to load than a truck, can pick up the tongue and drag it around by hand when empty.

Just a small utility trailer, nice to slip a sheet of plywood on, or a canoe. It is easy to move around, and store.

On a related note, is the Harbor Freight utility trailer a good value, a good trailer, or both?

I have a 5 foot by 6 foot Lifetime fold up utility trailer that I keep in my utility shed when I'm not using it. Great trailer but unfortunately they don't make them anymore.

The Harbor Freight trailer is cheap for a reason. It should be considered lite duty, and if you only need a trailer for a few small loads it may work for you. You get what you pay for.
