At a campground in Montana while w wer having supper there was a lot of roaring of an engine coming from an older Ford 3/4 ton with a large camper in the box and about 3 kids and a lady with close lines with close and things hung on them. after a while i had to go and investigale and as I came up I noticed that I could see the engine of the truck through the grill This shouldn't be as the radiater is supposed to be there, So i asked the guy what the problem was and he said his radiater was bad so he had removed it and had to run the truck awhile each day to charge the batery To this day I m wondering what happened to those folks and how he got there.

I resemble this remark!

I have an electric "Fireplace" I yanked out of a Condo I renovated that I would love to stick in my egg if not for the space it will take.

This one has some log looking things with a lightbulb behind them and a motor that turns the "Flames" between the two.

The motor noise is supposed to sound like a roaring fire I think?

It is priceless and makes no pesky heat either!

RE: Needs a Fireplace
You could always use this one, easy to install, uses no extra space and no pesky heat either:

I do know of a Toyota Motorhome owner that installed a wood burning stove/heater in his 18' rig. I expect his sticky to become part of the fuel load at some point...

I forgot I already have the Fireplace App on my iPad.
I guess since I have only used it during the Holidays I just overlooked it?
It also makes realistic crackling noises and has several different fireplace and candle options.

Thanks for the reminder.

Wink It's not delivery

I have a small, homemade, fold-away reflector oven [cookie sheets and steel rods] that I can prop up in front of the fire. Cooking pizza while campers are making their final rounds or walking the pets always elicits comments - 'do you smell pizza?' 'I smell pizza' ' No, it can't be, not way out here' 'It must be something else that smells like...' 'I didn't know there was a pizza place near here.' etc....
Sometimes there are comments during morning ablutions - 'Did anyone smell pizza cooking last night?' etc....
