How do you see where the trailer is going? Using mirrors you have a good view down both sides, lost only if turning to the passenger side. I have towed and reversed with lots of trailers of every size, including tractor - trailer units having a Class I license.

My wife makes sure I stay on target. But I have done it by myself with no problems. ( I put a cone to mark where I need to stop.
All I need to watch is the driver's side of the Camper. If I hug the fence post everything works out. Because of the size of the trailer I have no problem seeing down the driver's side of the Camper.
I posted a video of me moving the camper into the backyard. This may help.

I LOVE ESCAPE TRAILERS! You would need to have someone tell you to stop. My wife stands where I need to place the rear of the camper.

I built it so that I could avoid drilling or cutting the mower frame.
You could build a lighter simpler one and it would work just fine.
I used a 1-7/8" ball for both 2" and 1-7/8" couplers
Worked fine for around the yard
Just keep the mower under a 100MPH

Front hitch
Hello,
Just mounted the one from my old truck onto the new van.
Love using it. The vision question is valid but remember that you would still have a better view than with a 2 wheel dolly which many people successfully use. Also, one is often familiar with the spot where tight parking benefits from such. You likely know where you want the wheels to land and you can easily see the drivers side of the trailer.

Snowdolly!
I mounted a 2" ball on my snowblower and push/pull my 3500# trailer like it's a toy.

I put a 19’ Scamp in back corner of 50x30 building using come alongs and dollies under wheels and landing gear. Takes a little time but works great.

I have mine in a storage lot and it is scary as heck when I back it up between two other trailers. The angle I have to use is not a straight iine. A video of my lack of skills might be funny.

Door- 8 feet wide.
Trailer- 6'8" wide (but then there is the awning)
Tight but I take it slowly and carefully! Inside there is more room until it reaches the back end of the garage where shelves are built out to the 8' mark. So I have to go in pretty straight. If you look closely you'll see a taped line under one tire- I line up on those.

Along the lines of your tape, when turning while reversing into a camp spot I will put down a leveling block right beside where I want the tires on that side. A nice reference.

And I thought mine was hard to get centered so the side-door could open enough to get in, it's a cakewalk compared to yours!
