Dave, I don't see any photos. But as beautiful as it probably is, I'm glad I am not seeing snow right now
Everyone seems to be having a long winter and slow incoming spring.. We are below average for warm weather here in Michigan.

Dave,
You better hope that the Gulf Stream keeps flowing
I noticed you are selling your trailer. Pourquoi, may I ask?
Phil
We moved to Montreal a year ago. Just in time to experience the coldest winter in decades. Lucky, eh?

It has been snowing here in Calgary since Saturday with temperatures hovering around freezing. Although there is snow on the ground it is not accumulating. I really wish summer would arrive.

Reason for selling

My daughter had our old Trillium 4500 and it was never used. Last month she asked me if I wanted it back [same price as before] and I jumped at the chance. I dug it out of the snow in Pasadena [NL not CA] and hauled it home over Easter. After 6 years it needs a lot of work but I will get it done.
This is a special rig that Janet and I spent a lot of time in. It is full of memories for me and hopefully there will be more. Bittersweet perhaps but memories all the same.

I wish we had the gulf stream but it swings east at more southern latitudes and we do not get the benefits like Bermuda or Murmansk. We also get colder weather because of the ice packed in along the northeast coast if the winds are from the north and there are a fair number of icebergs tracking south right now.

The snow plow is in the parking lot as I type this and the snow is still falling, horizontally.

Glad you're still going to be on the road
You mentioned Bermuda. Lived there for 5 years. And yes the Gulf Steam protected us from winter storms blowing over from New York way. But not from hurricanes
Good luck working on the 4500

Dave,

Good to see your post, bad to see mention of snow.

We leave for Newfoundland this Saturday morning, our 7th trip. Though we have seen snow in the mountains, we have never been snowed on in Newfoundland but it looks like it might be the case this year. In fact it is snowing on Fogo Island today.

Take care,

Norm and Ginny
