...sat outside with a lovely, hot fire in the firepit on a glorious, albeit coolish, fall afternoon. dennis raked 6 bags of leaves but there are still lots on the tree. and coming inside i cringe to hear the forecast of 20 cms tonight/tomorrow.
.....the summer was wayyy too short. fall has been terrific. but i am NOT ready for winter!!!

Yes it does. Coincidentally, I was up in your neck of the woods last year when they had the infamous Monday Night football game postponement due to snow; the one where the PA governor Rendell said we were becoming a "Nation of wusses". Got a chance to drive from DC through Arlington, to Dover DE in the snow.
The year before that we visited Philly and they had the highest snowfall ever recorded in the month of December.
After those two trips my relatives asked me to quit coming up there in December, so we're headed up there November this year. (Expect earlier snow now)
