Winter wonderful

Last weekend in the bigfoot. Arrived at 1030pm to 3’ of snow and 0 degrees. I did remember to bring a shovel. Fifteen feet later I got inside where the temp was 53 degrees. Highly recommend these oil-filled heaters. Over the weekend it was wonderful to be away from Maskachusetts in the fresh air and sun!

Not so good for here. Temperatures are going up to the low 50's with heavy rain predicted tonight and tomorrow. That'll melt the 6" of snow on the ground now. Bah Humbug

Merry Christmas Raz !! Things will get better for you and hopefully real soon
Look at the bright side , you will have Winter in all its beauty in the near future , while many in our country will spend winter surrounded in drab brown and suffering from the affects of heat and humidity
Right after breakfast , we are heading outside with snow shovels in hand and enjoy the great outdoors as God intended!

The snow is beautiful and just in time for Christmas... but I went for a walk with the dog at lunchtime and that wind is COLD! Only went about half as far as usual.

I was born and lived half of my life in Moscow, Russia. I can't understand people who say "winter is wonderful"...

Winter wonderful

No Bugs
No Bugs
No Bugs

No gators or snakes
No Poison Ivy

Fewer Crowds and traffic---great in these covid times

Little humidity

Skiing, skating and tobogganing and hot cocoa
Roaring fires

We are not referring to Siberia which I get...

I've worked in the Arctic and Antarctica

But I do Love New England, in snow.

That’s cause Moscow does not get real cold in the winter.
The average January temperature in Moscow is 23 deg F or barely below freezing
Up here that would be considered a heat wave plus what we have is a dry cold .

Sergey , you have my respect , anyone that can survive the heat and humidity of Southern Florida is a better man than I.

Nope. The average February temps were well below 0F when I relocated to US. Look at the stats for years 1980-1998.

I have to assume you relocated to the US for other reasons than the weather .
