Thank you for posting. Although I was hoping to do a Spring RV trip, obviously that is not going to happen. We hope to go camp in WI later this summer. Hopefully they will be open at that time.

Note that most of them are in the south and east where everyone is trying to escape the big cities. Others are still open but have limited services. It's a good year to own an empty boondocking lot.

What is an "empty boondocking lot"? Do you mean own a lot somewhere without electrics, water or sewer, if so I am not sure where a such lot could be purchased; would it not have to be a fairly large acreage in the country? Buying a boondocking LOT suggests other lots are being sold in the immediately vicinity, as in a few feet away, which could hardly be called boondocking. I would just be crowded undeveloped RV campsites. On the other hand maybe I am overthinking this.

In my case, I was going to go full timing and wanted a lot in Wisconsin to come home to and build on "some day". It never happend and I still own the 2 A lot. It is where I park the Scamp in the winter and host a ham radio group once a year. Picture is from last year, and I do not think that it will happen this year.

Thanks. That looks like a fairly large lot and would be nice place to boondock, assuming ordinances allow camping. I live in Tennessee but spend a lot of time out West, particularly Nevada, for some unknown reason. I actually looked at small acreages on line last year in NV. We never got serious because we still like to ramble about, but it's an idea to consider.
