Does this one have the 3" frame or the 4" tall frame? Apparently they made the switch to the 4" frame sometime late in the 2013 model year?

I'm very interested in an Escape trailer and live in Georgia so finding one on the east coast is a big plus.

Why are you selling it so quickly? Any problems with the trailer?

No, the trailer is absolutely perfect for us with one unforeseen exception. My wife continues to work from home (virtual stuff) and she uses two computers and two phones to do her work. Her work hours are from 8 AM to 8 PM typically. She uses the dinette which also works just fine, especially with the sliding feature of the dinette table. The exception is that "I" don't have anywhere to sit when she's working. Now, I believe in sharing, but there isn't much room for me at the dinette if she's working.

Our first trailer was a Glendale 29E34RL fifth wheel which was way too large for us. Still, we used it for nine years and spent over five hundred nights in it and we really liked it except we had way more space than we needed. So we decided to go smaller; hence, our Escape 19. Now that we are traveling way more during the Winter while she's working, we didn't anticipate this to be an issue. Amazingly, even in our Escape 19 we have more than enough storage space, but not enough dinette (work) space. It is just something we didn't foresee when we transitioned from Summer travel to traveling all year long while she was working.

So, our options are to either customize our Escape 19, or give up on traveling all year long or go to some floor plan where I get a bit of space when it's raining and or cold outside. We're going with the latter option.

Our Escape 19 is a vastly easier to utilize trailer for us. It's a breeze to maintain, it's easy to hook and unhook, it's a dream to tow and maneuver and it weighs less than five thousand pounds versus twelve thousand pounds. I wouldn't go back to a fifth wheel for any reason after having owned this Escape 19.

As to what we are going to transition into, I am exploring the floor plan options presently. I have no idea except that I don't want to get too big or too heavy or too high.

I hope this answers your question.

Does your trailer have the additional insulation and/or heated tanks?
