Trailer: Trillium Jubilee
Posts: 5
I am thinking of buying another trailer this week. I already have a 1981 Trillium Jubilee 1300 and I am thinking about getting a 1976 Boler. The Boler needs a little work. I need a couple of parts mainly the little window on the drivers side above the stove and the covering that goes over the front window, I call it a rock guard but I am not sure of the proper name. Any ideas where these parts can be found? Thanks Dale

Would a new Rock Guard from Scamp fit an older Boler?

I seem to remember another thread of someone making a new rock guard from scratch. I can't remember what size or kind of trailer it was on. I think it was dark plexiglass.

As far as replacement windows go, you might have to enlarge the space to put a new style window there. Or is it just a matter of replacing the glass/plastic on an existing window? I know we have discussed both options in recent threads.

We're missing the little pins that hold down the rock guard on our '77 17" Boler. Our favourite RV shop didn't have a clue where to order them.

The spring-loaded pins which secure the rock guard on my B1700 look like the ones on the Escape, except that on the Boler they are mounted in the guard edge, and poke into a fixed bracket, while on the Escape they are mounted on a fixed bracket, and poke into the slot which is visible on the edge of the guard.

(I left the photo showing a large area for scale - the pin is in the lower left corner at the strut mounting bracket.)

One of my pins needs replacement, as well. The housing is still there, but the pin and spring are missing, so the previous owner stuck a bolt in (which sort of works).

Maybe someone recognizes this part from the photo?

Information is good. Lack of information is not so good, but misinformation is much worse. Check facts, and apply common sense liberally.
