19ft Bigfoot bed size

Hi all

I am looking at buying a 1984 19ft Bigfoot Tandem Axle. I have 1981 17ft and was wondering if the beds in the 19ft are any bigger?

Oh and the price is $4800? Good or bad?

Good price! I don't own one, but before I bought my first Trillium, I was going to buy one at $5500. Does it have a shower? Some don't.

I won't be any help with the bed dimensions though.

Dale,

I don't believe the beds in the 19 are any bigger. I have a 17 and bought some cushions off some folks whose 17 was wrecked and bought a 19 to replace it, only to find out their next-to-new cushions from the 17 didn't fit. As they explained it to me, the 19 gives you a bigger bathroom and a bigger closest, but no more sleeping space.

If they are no different, why didn't they fit?

The side couch/pull-out on the 19 has a bit of a different configuration than the 17' because the rear closet runs full width IIRC. So it uses only 2 cushions instead of the jigsaw puzzle of 5 cushions that the 17' does. The bed is the same size I believe. The front dinette is the same size between the two as well I think.

At any rate, the cushions they had from their 17' didn't all fit in their 19', so they kept them and when they sold their 19' they still had them in the attic.

Good price. Two models a 19 Gaucho and a Bunk model. Bed size 42x75 Gaucho and the dinette is 43x79.
A 17G bed is 44x75.

Sorry to hijack, but does anyone have a spec sheet for the 19.5?
