81 casita overhaul

I am in the middle of a total restoration of my 81 casita and was wondering if any one could help me with a few questions? I have removed all of the interior components, carpet and flooring, and was seeing if any one has a way to remove the foam from the carpet that is left on the walls, most of it has been scraped off with a scraper just need to get off the remaining stuff. A wire brush on a grinder or is there a solvent that can be used? Also I need to rebuild my windows and need to find where I can get trim for them, they are the plexiglass slider ones. Any advise would be appreciated.

Thanx Gator

I used either a 3 or 4 inch nylon bristle cup brush for a 1/4 inch drill attachment. Lot of work involved and there is no easy way out. I tried the brass brush but think the bristle did better. IMO

Mike I will be watching this one close. I also will be doing my sliders snd will need new everything. Gaskets and seals and the fiberseal for the slider window.
I was looking at the sliding screen section , and it looks to be a pain to remove. Want to replace screen and clean everything while it is out.

Put the fantastic fan in with the 1 1/2 riser and resister to slow down
. Then put switch for hi and low speeds . Nice 6 speeds inn and out. Sweet will post photos later.
Not getting much done very fast ,still recovering from knee replacement.

I used a composite wire wheel on my drill. It worked well, but I wish I could have found one for angle grinder, side load is tough on drills.
