Hi all.

I just got a tip about a Beachcomber B15 for sale. A few hours drive from me.

I'd like to go look at it, but want to know what I am looking for in these. Do they have a plywood floor that rots or something like that? Are there known weak areas on the frame or hinges or ???

Any help or pointers will be appreciated. As this might be my 1st trailer.

Thanks,
Roy

The albums have quite a bit of info HERE.

There are a couple members that have them, but I haven't seen anyone post about them in quite awhile.

Thank you Gina!

I searched the site last night and found only a little in the forums.
Then it took me a while to figure out that the forum archives has a pseudonym for a user that may not be here or was lost when this site crashed.

I followed your link and found some of what I was looking for.
For some reason, I seemed to have missed the link at the top of the page to the [b]Albums

Hopefully, the other members that know anything about Beachcombers will pipe in and let me know what to look out for!

Roy

We have a Beachcomber I think its a '78 B15 it was fixed up with new paneling inside. The only problems we've had is some water got in the fridge vents and lifted the el'cheapo vinyl flooring.I just cleared the old stuff out don't know what I'll put back. The vent looks like it was added at some point as it is not the same as the lower two.Except for that nothing serious although a new toilet maybe in order. We tow with a 2003 caravan no problem.

Hi Roy,

A plywood floor is not necessarily a bad thing. Our 72 Boler has the original plywood floor, no fibreglass under or over. It is still in excellent condtion 34 years later.
