I got the same great service from Grant at the Bigfoot factory a year or so ago. I had a severely damaged fender that was part of a hail storm insurance claim. I checked out three options: body shop repair of the original part,
fiberglass molded replacement from scratch, or factory replacement. The quickest and least expensive was the factory replacement. A local boat shop wanted nearly $1000 to make a mold and manufacture one from scratch. Making a mold that is only going to be used once is not very cost effective. Current Bigfoot models use a different fender mold than the older models, so it is great they kept the old molds and can provide replacement parts when needed.
