black streak remover

I have read somewhere in either this forum or another that you can remove black streaks from fiberglass with a product that was found at the dollar store. Does anyone know what that product is? I can't find the original post

Bar Keepers Friend powdered cleanser and a scrub brush or wet rag. Bye Bye black stains. Works pretty decent on aluminum trim too. Not abrasive, has a bleaching agent.

Dollar store might have BKF , LA Awsome spray cleaner has been mentioned from dollar store a few times, I used that on inside ensolite with a scrub brush, never on outside.

There is a product called "Totally Awesome" that is available at dollar stores. It is very strong stuff in its undilutted form. It easily removes black streaks as well as any wax as well. Works better than any product I have tried on black streaks. Just be sure to wax again after.

Send a message via Yahoo to Darwin Maring
I use a water and bleach mixture, spray it on and wash about 15 to 30 minutes later.
I use a 30% bleach mixture.
