Hello everybody, I'm new here. To get to the point, I'm contemplating building a mini travel trailers from scratch. Very
light and small, one that has only the very basics inside, sparse and utilitarian. Kindof like the Airstream Basecamp, but at a fraction of its
weight, size and price. Something I can stand in and sit and work on a notebook, otherwise a teardrop kind would have worked too.
Have any of you done this? I've once converted a Mercedes bus but of course, it already had a shell. Maybe one of these enclosed utility trailers could make a shell, but they usually have the wheels outside, plus I'd like to get more ground clearance then they have.
Are there good suppliers for the RV parts, such as a
windows, a sink and such you guys would recommend?
Thanks,
Holger
