When it gets hungry.

I love these pedantic discussions.

Just an expression. The meaning is plain but not literal.

Care and feeding : child :: general maintenance : trailer
(i.e., as care and feeding is to a child, so is general maintenance to a trailer)

We give ours a coating of wax. It must like that because it gets shiny. We keep it out of the bad weather when we’re using it and it doesn’t leak on our head. Seems like a mutually advantageous symbiotic relationship to me.

Keep it clean and waxed. I even wax the front before long trips to help keep the bugs from sticking. And in the category, I think qeneral Q and A. tips and techniques of the complete RV are welcome, not just the fiberglass finish.
From Webster definition of care and feeding:The providing of what is needed for sustenance, well-being, or efficient operation , //machines that don't need a lot of care and feeding

You’re a good dad, Jerrybob. Treating your Casita that way you’ll never have to bail it out of a storage lot.
