Casita Sewer hose support recommendations

Hi,

I have been looking at Camco's 20 Ft (43051) Sidewinder RV Sewer Hose Support

The production description indicates:

"Angled to help in drain sewer hose contents, it is 7.25” at its highest point and 4” at its lowest. "

I believe the distance from the ground to the bottom of the Casita's sewer host connection is 6.25" so I am not sure this will work well.

Does anyone use the Camco Sidewinder with their Casita?

Do you use a different hose support system that sits lower than the Sidewinder, and that you would highly recommend?

Thank you!

We have a very low discharge point on our Silver Cloud and we use the Sidewinder when necessary (when the ground sewer connection is raised a bit). I slant the last couple feet of the Sidewinder to match the discharge height and it works.

I have been using the 10ft support for a long time. Most of the time it helps the system drain better. I do occasionally run across the campground where the sewer connection is too high. I would recommend it.

I had replaced the gutters on our house with the rounded PVC gutters. I had a couple 4 or 5 foot pieces left over so they became the sewer hose support for our Casita. Blocked them up to whatever height I needed, and overlapped them for the right length.

We use one on our Casita. Because of having to put the trailer on blocks to level it sometimes it is perfect. Other times we put the Sidewinder at the trailer with the first few sections not pulled out to the edge of the hose.
