Cleaning fibreglass on Trillium

I'm going to start clean up on the exterior of my Trillium. It's all faded and not great looking. I have the recommended polish, but need to know the best way to clean the trailer before polishing. Thanks for any suggestions.

Many people use Barkeepers Ffriend to remove the oxidation, and then rinse it really well afterward. On mine, I used Softscrub (the 'with bleach' version)
