Those badly scratched plexiglass or lexan windows can sometimes be given a new lease on life. Give them a good buffing with car POLISH, not wax. It will remove the small scratches and rejuvinate the windows.
PS. Works with sunglasses too.
Here's a topic started by Byron in the first part of January regarding cleaning Plexiglass: Cleaning Plexiglass, what do you use? Contained within the topic is a post I made to a very good Legacy Post addressing orbital machines and plexiglass polishing compound.

Be careful using any product with the name polish in it because it will contain abrasives by definition -- The abrasive removes part of the surface to produce a polished finish, and the wrong abrasive or too much effort (esp with machinery) will scratch the surface or remove too much of it
OOPS Guess I didn't read back far enough.
Thanx Donna. Please delete or move to other message. I don't want to Impose on someone else. That was not my intension and I appologize.

It's fine James. One of the most helpful abilities is the search engine on this site. But new discussion is fine too. Afterall technologies and products change on a daily basis and it's possible something new has been developed that we need to know about.
