Just to add to the knowledge base since we're talking about these tanks, I'll post some info I received from Polyrama. I checked with them about a
Boler water tank a few months ago.
As of that time they could not ship to the US. So anyone from the US ordering one would need to get it home from Canada somehow. I considered combining a tank order with a trip up north, so I asked her about a shipping cost to Quebec City, along with asking about a group order (which I would have publicized here).
From Polyrama:
Yes, we do manufacture the water tank for the Boler Trailer. The tank size is 39"L x 16"W x 4"D.
The tank is made of Polyethylene.
Tank comes with 3 - 3/8" drain ports and 1 - 1" fill port all on one end of the tank.
The fittings are made of the same material and they are spun into the tank.
The ends of the fittings are National Pipe Thread.
Tank cost is $100.78 + GST.
However, we are unable to ship to the United States.
If you know somebody in Canada that we could ship it to then they could forward it on to you that would be great.
I do not know a cost to ship to Quebec City. We would ship them by bus to the closest terminal and they would be held there for you to pick them up and pay the freight at that point.
There would be a 7% price break on an order of 10 or more tanks.
I decided not to order a tank from Polyrama (yet anyway), so this is as far as I took it. I then sent a query to Ronco Plastics (rotomolded tanks) but never heard back from them. A company named Triple M Plastics will make custom welded tanks, but I have not checked with them yet.
