I want to mount a plastic deck box on the back of my Boler just for light stuff lawn chairs, satelitte dish etc. the one from Rubbermaid seems pretty sturdy has anybody tried one of these?

LOL....WAIT, WEIGHT, weight issue Alert!!

Be advised that added weight (either/both end) CAN affect handling to some degree.
....just so's ya know!!!

I am using this for my Satelitte dish and other light stuff I moved the spare tire to the front hitch for some compensation, I learned my lesson last year when I put my generator and 15 gallons of gas back there, now that was scary!

Well, it sounds like you have a plan and are aware of some of the related issues, so go for it!!

You might want to total the weight of EVERYTHING including the deck box and see if the tongue weight changes excessively after front mounting thespare.
Ten pounds on the bumper isn't much but 20 inches back in a box could make a big difference.

My first stop will be the weigh scale, after I weigh the total wieght I will use my bathroom scale for the hitch weight, I also installed a second battery up front (60LBs) if need be I'll move the beer up front to balance the load.

I started camping almost 50 years ago with a box of beer and a sleeping bag, next time we took food and a tent! over the years we got higher and higher off the ground then we listened to football games on the radio the next step was TV. I don't know where we are going from here but I still get up early in the morning to catch fish, sitting by the fire telling tall tales late into the night is still my favorite. As for roughing it, been there done that! spend 10 days on the Churchill river system sometime! the only reason I left was because I didn't have any place left on my body for the horseflys to bite.
