Determine year of trailer

I just bought a 13' Trillium. It is in great shape as it has been kept in a garage most years since it was bought new. I checked it all over and everything is in great shape. One thing I am wondering is how do you determine the exact year of the trailer? I mean, I know it was made in the 70's, but not the exact year. I looked around for some type of plate describing weight, year, etc...but found nothing.

The guy who sold it to me got it from his father when he passed away, and he is not sure of the year.

Hi
Congratulations. Sounds like you got a good trailer. We'ell all be waiting to see some pictures.

Unless someone has removed it, inside the closet door is a piece of paper with all the particulars about the trailer on it. The ownership should say the year and weight also.

The back and front windows in the 71's are solid, don't open (like the Bolers). Not sure about 72's. 73's have both back and front windows fully louvered. 75 and up they made half the back window a solid pane escape hatch and the other side is louvered.

The frames on the early Trilliums were pieces welded together, like the Bolers. For sure the 73's and up have two solid frame rails, from the receiver back with cross braces between.

Geez, my mind is not working right now. I know there are some other differences but can't think of them.

So what colour is it. We have a 13' green 75.

Pictures please, we love pictures.
Nancy

trillium year

well I pick it up this afternoon. I will take some "before" pics and post them. It is also green and the front window is half and half like you mentioned. Half louvered and half solid pane. I am not sure about the back windows, I can't remember.

I will check the closet when I get the trailer. thanks for the info!

Oops, I mis-typed, 76 and up have have solid pane, half louvered. 73, 74, and 75 have fully louvered windows front and back.

My TT has the sticker inside the wardrobe closet as most RV's do. It also has the riveted metal tag on the outside of the unit - forward of the heat vent and just around the corner from the propane tanks. Mine's not a Trillium and maybe those older trailers did not tag the outside.

The year should be on the ownership, when you register the trailer they will print out a new copy in your name but it will have the original year of manufacture.
