An eraser wheel. You can probably find one locally at an auto part store: ABN Pinstripe Decal 4-inch Eraser Wheel Pad Sticker Removal Tool with Arbor

Brother in law ran a garage and he used a heat gun, not hair dryer, on cars to remove them.
Will ths work?

I pulled a lot of decals off of old trailers and cars. Most will come off with a heat gun, but cautiously apply heat. I found a few, mostly old thin ones where the eraser Donna mentioned had to be used.

The eraser wheel worked like magic on my 1970 Campster to take off the remnants of the old decals. Haven't tried the striping but I think it would work.

Wow +1 on the eraser wheel. Bought one to do my pinstriping today, when you said it worked so well. Works like a dream!
