Regarding the polishing and prep...the body of my S-16 came out wonderful with a Boat Soap wash, Meguire's Marine/RV Compound and Meguire's Flagship Wax...using a buffer. Now I have to do my roof (which I should have done first) and am wondering if I can actually work on the roof itself so I can reach everything (I'm 200 pounds). Would this stress the
fiberglass shell too much? Two other items...I have tried everything up to and including acetone, and cannot remove the spare tire donut ring; finally, where is my
VIN located? Does anyone know the
weight of a stripped
Scamp 16 (shell on wheels)? I'm sure these are not original questions, but have checked FAQ's and elsewhere but found nothing similar...please excuse my redundancy if I missed the boat. Thanks in advance for any help here.
