Getting the shine back (my experiment)

Has anyone tried this…… I cleaned a test spot on my scamp and used Orange GLO Hardwood Floor Refinisher…. "Polyurethane Formula".

I followed the instructions for wood floors…… Worked great. I now have a glossy 6"x 6" spot on the lower rear of my scamp and it hasn't changed in the 2 months it has been sitting in Oregon winter weather.

This idea came to me after reading about Poli Glow and looking at the cost. A 32oz bottle of http://www.woodfloorcare.com/111504A00.asp is about $14.00.

A couple of problems that may present themselves later. When it's time to remove, how much work is it going to be to get that stuff off? If it's not formulated for fiberglass, it's possible it's going to start peeling along with turning yellow because of UVs, there again... in the future.

I know no personal experience with the product and truly do hope it works for you and meets your expectations.

Let us know how it goes!!

Exactly why the test spot will stay a test spot. Not ready to slap it all over everything yet.

I will post updates on how my shiny spot is doing.
