Gray water

My 2019 casita Spirit Deluxe has a really slow draining gray water tank. It is coming out in a trickle. Any one have this problem? What to do? I hate taking lines apart.
\Thanks
Ralph

Try threading the valve handle in until it is tight and then open and close it a few times.
Also check the vent tube(overflow) for a kink.

Silly, but run about 5 gallons of water into the tank and check it again.
Either the overflow should spill or maybe the tank was empty??

Thanks Floyd. I haven't had time to mess with it yet, but I will try that and when looking at it there is one place where it is attached with a rubber sleeve. I will detach it if I still have a problem and see if there is a obstruction.

The older Casita's were noted for being slow to drain the grey tank. Something to do with the venting. Little House Customs has a kit to improve draining. Not sure if the problem has been fixed on the newer models. Slightly elevating the opposite side of the trailer by pulling up on a board helps.

Thanks. I will try all when I get time. The vent is something I have thought about. With the 2 sinks and the shower drain it looks like it would vent through them. there are traps, but still I think it would work.

Slow gray water draining is a major PITA for those with older Casitas. Little House Customs has the fix. You can try everything possible, but in the end I bet you buy this kit.

We had Larry Gamble of LHC install the fast gray tank drain kit and the gray tank vent kit on our 2013 Casita . It shortened the gray tank drain time and allowed the gray tank to fill to it’s listed capacity

As Floyd stated , on our Scamp the valve handle needed to be screwed in to fully retract the valve bladed
