Hadco Refrigerator not working

I have an original Hadco duo refrigerator in my 1974 TrailsWest Campster. Last time I went camping, a few years ago, the refrigerator worked fine on propane. Now I can't get it to work on either propane or electric. Any ideas? Thanks!

Others here are more expert. I think you want to check for spider webs or insect nests in the tubing near the flame area. A frequent cause of failure in gas appliances is the thermocouple that senses the presence of the pilot light. Its failure would not explain failure to operate on electricity. So check fuses and power supply. PS, Thermocouples are inexpensive.

Have you moved the trailer at all inthe last couple of years? The refridgerent can settle to the bottom and stop the unit from working.
Towing it over an uneven road or taking the fridge out and inverting it for 24 hrs has worked for me.
Also have you smelt ammonia around your unit, if so its probably done.

Thank you, Tom & Fred

I just returned from 5 days camping (with no cell service), and I'm happy to report that the refrigerator worked like a charm on propane. Not sure what the hangup was getting it going. Most likely, I just needed to be more patient. I did level it better, which probably helped. Also realized it had been nearly 3 years!! Too long. Again, thank you.
