How to start new thread in particular spot?

I just became a more active member of the FiberglassRV site/forums.
My interest is in Escape trailers.
I'd like to start a new thread in the "Discussions related to Escape Trailers" section (see attached thumbnail). When I am there, and click on the "Start Thread" button, it takes me to new spot where I am asked to "Please select a forum to post to", and the drop-down menu does not include options related to particular brands, such as Escape.
Feeling stupid - in this case, how do I start a thread that will show up where I want it to?
Thank you, sorry for troubling you ---

Not sure what the point is.
If you put Escape in the thread topic field, people will know what you want to discuss, no matter where on the forum it appears. I read or scan or at least open every post that appears in bold on the Recent Discussions field. I don't select individual forums.
And, if you want to talk Escape, I'd go here:
http://www.escapeforum.org/forums/

That list is basically a search result, not a section of the forum. This site does not have a separate sub-section for each manufacturer. If Escape is in the thread title, it might show up in that list... or not.

Choose a sub-forum based on the topic of the question- electrical or towing or remodeling... “General Chat” is a catch-all for anything that doesn’t fit a specific category.

Or, as Glenn says, go to the Escape-specific owner’s group.

There isn't an Escape only forum on this site. If you click on a new topic it asks what existing forum your post is about and I expect it flags your post as Escape related, if that's your intent. Like Glenn suggested, if you put Escape somewhere in the topic it makes easier for others to find.

You're not doing anything wrong, you just have misunderstood what FGRV will do your post.

Yes, Steve, I think you hit the nail on the head. I'm not used to sites like this, do not do much on websites in general. Sorry to have troubled everyone. A bit overeager, I guess ---

See you there! and hey, maybe if I get lucky and the stars align, I'll get on the road with my Escape trailer someday, and see you on the REAL road! :-)
