The trim in my '74 Trillium that covers the seams on the ceiling has come unstuck - I suspect because of the hot weather, and it is now haging down in one place and several ends have come loose. The previous owner tried to use silicone sealant to hold it in place but it does not seem to be working well. What have other people tried?

Doublesided carpet tape???

Course what I did in our Boler was rip it all out and fill the seams with paintable caulk...

Gorilla glue will glue almost anything however, it foams and expands. If you use it, you must clamp it somehow or use something to hold it secure in place. Once it cures, it's there forever.

PL Construction adhesive is a polyurethane material.............much like Gorilla Glue..........that doesn't expand much. It is a great material and will produce a waterproof bond that will last as long as the materials to which it is attached.
