Leveling your trailer

Whether you use the fancy plastic blocks or ramps or a plank, you might find this helpful. If you use the trailing edge of technology, the BAL trailer tire leveler, this doesn't apply.

Disconnect your trailer's pigtail connector before driving it onto the blocks or ramp. With the pigtail connected, your trailer brakes will make the blocks scoot. With the pigtail disconnected, you can ride the brakes to get that pinpoint positioning you're aiming for.

Wow!

Thanks, Morgan, for a great idea. That's one of those head whackers. So simple, yet I would have never thought of it.

Oh, yes: And also so simple that even I understood it. :wink

Thanks Suz,

It had to be very simple for me to figure it out.

I must have scooted my blocks around the camp site about a mile altogether before the light dawned. :nope Lee was back there with her radio saying, "the d@mned things slid again." :bh I even invited her to put her foot on them to hold them in place; she gracefully declined.

Well, I've never been accused of being gracious (I don't think), and so have held the boards with my foot before. (Probably needed a sign, huh?)

Thanks for the tip, Morgan!

Now, how do I convince Skip to try it? :shame

de nada Mary F.

If you're the outside coordinator, just walk over, pull the plug and say, "Try it now, Skip."

The beauty of that sign joke is that we all recognize ourselves in it. We need a smiley with a sign. :helpme Wrong sign, but you get the idea.

If we had one that said, "I'm stupid," I could use it for an avatar. :wak

That would be a good one for my first wife, Lee, at least until I divorce her.

Need somebody

Morgan, we need someone to edit that little smilie and have it read "here's your sign"

Come on ... one of you computer geeks. Can't you edit that little smilie somehow?

Ok, I couldn't resist

Ok, I couldn't resist.

It was Morgan's idea ... but I'm going to use it for awhile. I'm claiming the new little sign smilie for my avatar .... until such time when someone edits the little smilie guy to carry a sign saying "here's your sign" .... then he'll become the official little smilie for the Fiberglass RV website.

Dang Mary can do it!

Dang, Mary can do it!

Hey, maybe instead of "I'm stupid," it could just say "stupid"

Probably be less offensive if the little sign said "My Sign" but then you'd have to edit/mess with type.

Good job Mary!

Love it Mary!

Love it, Mary!

Morgan, while self-deprecation may be ok for us ... I think Mary's come up with the perfect sign for us to be able to award folks ... if for no other reason, to have them ask "hey, why did you post a little guy with a sign that said "my sign" after my post?

I mean, its a whole different spin on "where's my sign!"

I like it!

Thanks Mary!
