Thumbs up

I am in the Vancouver B.C. area. I have a Playpac which I have gutted and am now putting back together. I am looking for help with the propane, power etc.I am wondering if anyone out there does this sort of work on the side instead of me getting gouged at the RV shop. Any ideas.
Thanks.

Hi: There is one thing that even I wouldn't touch on my own Boler and that is GAS FITTING. One small leak could be BIG NEWS on CBC "The National"... I would feel safer having a professional do that part. That said... I still don't like to feel gouged when the job is done!!! I am sure there are some good reasonable R.V. appliance/gas specialists out there.

I would have to agree with Alf. I don't want somehacker that says "Yeah, I can do that for ya". This is one time that SAFETY calls for a professional. Think of the extra expense as life insurance.

Liza, I understand your not wanting to have to pay too much, but 'what price is safety'??

So you save a hunnerd or two bux and either the 'lectric or worse yet, the gas system malfunctions and causes serious injury... Is it then gonna be worth having saved a couple hundred $$'s? You be the judge.

I can recommend Meridian Mobile in Port Coquitlam and some other smaller shops but would definately NOT recommend a back yard job on doing these chores.

P.S. are you coming to our local Glass Egg Meet in Ft. Langley this May??? (Lots of 'in progress' trailers there to be seen....)

Lisa, you definitely need to read this topic from Ian-Vickie and pay close attention to what it cost them for a propane fix in their Burro. OUCH! Certainly find out who they had do the work and maybe try someplace else??? I'm not saying the work wasn't worth what they paid, but gosh... I'd shop around or do without (but that's just me)

Another Play Pac owner! Welcome to the forum and kept posting. We'd like pictures, please.

Thank you all for the words of wisdom regarding my propane and electrical. Maybe I should elaborate..This is my first trailer and I am not too familiar with how they work. The water tank is unhooked, I am not sure about the dirty water etc basic things which I am sure you are all familiar. I was looking for someone who may have some know how in the basics. Duly noted on the warnings of blowing myself up. I will try to make the meet If I can get it up and running. Thanks again.

You might check with Kersti Clark, she's a member here and owns an RV dealership on Vancouver Island: Bolers & Trilliums - Kersti Clark
