Made in Canada ??? Help Needed
I am trying to put together a list of contries of origin for Fiberglass RV's of all sizes and shapes. Can some of the Canadians pitch in with a listing of those specifically built in Canada, both past and present. I will post the compiled list as it shapes up
Thanks

Bob
I own a Boler made in Peace River Alberta. Mine is a 13 ft 1973, but I know they were in business in 1972 and 1974. I know people that own these years made there.
Escape is currently making many sizes of fiberglass trailers in Chilliwack B.C.

Surfside was made in Canada. It was bought out/taken over by Triple EEE (another Canadian Company that also made stickies and truck-mounted Campers), and continued on as Triple EEE Surfside
Bigfoot, Escape, Boler & Biggar all come to mind as Canadian trailers. Trilliums started out as Canadian as well, (I think)

hi...we own an outback by team trillium, based in calgary.
and dave--yes, you are correct. trilliums were made originally in markham, ontario, hence the whole trillium theme (provincial flower)....started in the early 70's. this little town (then) has grown exponentially in the past 40 years, but at the time, was a small village just northeast of toronto, which is our home.

There is also the Monarch Ventura, a small 12' fiberglass trailer made in Winkler, Manitoba in the 70's(think they stopped in 79). Mine is still going strong

There's also the Carefree trailer made in Trail, BC.
They were a one-year (1974) wonder as far as I can tell.
I've never seen one in person, but from what I've seen photos, features, and specs they should've been real contenders. At 14', (11' body) I think they may have hit a sweet spot between space and weight.
I believe Carefree may also have built a few fifth wheels - but can't confirm that, though there is a small unidentifiable FG 5er that can be seen in a yard from the highway that runs Union Bay, BC.

What about the Beachcomber? I'm pretty confident that's also a Canadian brand.

Monarch (in Manitoba) also built the Leocraft line of fiberglass trailers and RVs
Monarch later sold the Leocraft line to Triple E, in Winkler, Manitoba

Cadet based on what is now the Predom from Europe. Originally 100 shells were sent to Canada (Toronto) and then fitted with a spring spring galvanized frame and interior components.

It may be easier to ask what fiberglass trailers are NOT manufactured in Canada.

17ft Leocraft Rises ouy f
There seems to be a sudden appearance on the seen of a number of 17 ft fiberglass rvs by Leocraft. Two of which are members of this forum. And built right here in Canada.
