Parkliner Wheel Bearings

I'm wanting to repack or replace the seals and bearings on my 2012 Parkliner. I see that it has Dexter EZ Lube axle (spindle) on it. The fitting cover has Dexter EZ Lube 35-1 17 on it. Does anyone know of the part numbers for the seals and bearings on this type or the model number of the assembly?

When you disassemble the hub, the part numbers are stamped on the bearings and seal.

Any good auto parts store should have bearings and seals in stock. Some EZ lube axles use a special clip to retain the axle nut and it's a good idea to carry spares if your axle has these. The Dexter part is #006 190 00. and are available on line.

Is a Parkliner old enough to need new bearings?
I ask because many times the desire to "maintain" adds unreliability when service that is not needed is performed just a little "off" spec.
The EX Lube bearings just need a few shots slowly applied to them every year or so.
Travel trailers rarely get submerged launching so the bearings are just along for the ride for the most part.
As an aircraft mechanic I know that the most hazardous time to fly is right after maintenance where a good system was maintained into a non-functional one.
It is rare, but it happens.

This is what I used on my 2014 Parkliner.

Outer bearing: L44649 (bought at NAPA)
Inner bearing: L68149 (bought at NAPA)
Grease Seal: SKF 17146 (bought at NAPA)

Recently I bought this package on Amazon which seems to be a great deal. This is 2 sets of 2, so you have a new spare set. It was cheaper to buy 2 sets on Amazon than 1 set at NAPA.

(Set of 4) WPS 3500# Trailer Tandem Axle Bearing Kits L68149 L44649 Grease Seal 10-19 I.D. 1.719'' for #84 Spindle

It's a 2012 with around 2000 miles on it. I don't take the wheels off or jack it up when not using it. I bought it in 2014. Not being familiar with the axle a few years ago I went to add some grease and some came out before I really got any in it so I assumed it was full. Now having read up on the axle I see the proper way to lube them. With the age and miles I wasn't sure if I should just flush out the old lube or replace the bearings and seals. I thought the best way it to replace them, but if I can get away with a flush then I could put off changing them. I know cars go forever with our any wheel bearing problems. And my boat trailer hasn't ever been changed.

Maybe you should be thinking about servicing your boat trailer. Soon.
